The Sloan Museum of Discovery Archives is made up of three parts.
Automotive and Historical Collections
This area of the collection covers a wide variety of materials which includes photograhs, glass slides, manuals, manuscripts, family bibles, ledgers, periodicals, books, posters, blueprints, art, diplomas and more. Of the three parts of the collection, it is the largest and the materials are the requested and make up majority of reference requests.

The Flint Journal Collection includes clippings, photographs and negatives that were compiled by employees at the Flint Journal. Used extensively, this charming collection regularly assists researchers during early stages of information gathering.
